A Rabari in a red turban is working in a wheat field. His people wear turbans of this distinctive color. The Rabari in southern Rajasthan state were originally nomads who herded sheep, but lately, an increasing number are settling in villages and becoming farmers. Regardless, they keep their traditional garments, which I always find picturesque, no matter from what angle I see them. They remind us that true style is about adhering to one’s own style, rather than following fashionable trends. (Rajasthan, India 2019)
