The two diamonds are both based on the Gabe Tollowsky's design for the Centenary diamond, an extraordinarily large modified heart shape cut gemstone 273.85 carats. The pattern for the heart shape struck me as a vagina. I thought it ironic that in the context of a male dominated profession the resemblance of the cut pattern to a vagina was completely overlooked. It only became obvious to me that it referred to the vagina when I meticulously drew the original cut pattern manually. I feel that had the gemologist been a woman the design would have been dismissed as vulgar instead of iconic.
