Pineapple #10 , 2021

"Pineapples for me are one of the fruit wonders, I grew up eating them since I was a child and I remember my mom use to have a Jar of pineapple water in the fridge because apparently it's a great diuretic and she used to peel and wash the skin and then put it in a jar with water and drink it daily.
For this artwork I wanted to portray the pineapple as a powerful and beautiful flower among the long leaves.
For me it was a shock when I found out how and where they grow on the ground, it made me appreciate it even more.
It's like a majestic and spectacular edible gift of nature."
