Dramatic, yet minimal abstract expressionist landscape painting. The original piece is part of an ongoing series by Ann Shogren called “Daybreak”. An impression of a dark aubergine meadow and young vineyard anchors the piece, as tumultuous clouds pass by.

The large size of the piece allows the viewer to be enveloped in the scene, creating a dramatic statement for any space.

The Artist utilized brushes, drips, scratches and intentional hairline cracks to achieve the ethereal feel of the clouds.
