With this collection the artist wants to bring attention to the phenomenon and consequences of these huge nuclear explosions that characterize the end of a star's life: the Supernova. All the material released by the explosion is at the origin of the formation of new stars. The supernova thus poses as a symbol of death and rebirth, and cyclicity of the universe. But there is more. In these spectacular cosmic events the elements heavier than iron are formed, through which life, as we know it, is possible. That is why we can say that Supernova has a meaning that goes well beyond astronomy: we are sons of the stars.

The painted surface (aluminium-paper multilayer board) at no stage of its creation is touched by the artist with his hands, brushes or other instruments. This artwork is created only by moving the colors with water and air jets.

Supernova collection has been exhibited in 2017 at the Italian Cultural Institute of Chicago and in 2018 at Sala del Cenacolo of the Chamber of Deputies (Italian Parliament) in Rome.
