In George Aristovoulou's Not titled the fractured sections, angular shapes and sharp linework communicate a stark and almost jarring energy.

George Aristovoulou is an emerging artist who works with pencil, ink and gouache on paper. His style exemplifies figurative abstraction, where he carefully segments the picture plane, creating broad linear stripes that incorporate symbolic elements. The colours seamlessly blend, lending a dream-like quality to the imagery he carefully constructs.

Aristovoulou has worked at Arts Project Australia since 2011. He has exhibited in numerous national group exhibitions. His work is held in private collections throughout Australia.
