Portrait Of My Grandmother , 2020
11 x 8.5 in (h x w)
mixed media, Digital Background and traditional graphite pencils for the drawing.

When I told my grandmother that I needed to take photos of her and significant objects for a project, she was very excited. She received me at her house with Persian tea, homemade cookies and she had put on makeup and an elegant shirt for the photos.

I will never forget the happy smile she had when I took her pictures. For me this photo is one of the most significant, since it represents how she really is. Happy, loving, and elegant.
