Inspired by a stone age figurine, using a technique similar to making collagraph plates. I built up the image on board with layers of textured paste, polyfiller, plus scoring and peeling back the card. Then I varnished it, and rubbed or rolled on oil based ink in various colours. Finally I selectively polished the figurine to highlight her and her tattoos.
