Levi's: Teen Poster , 1998
h = 60, d = 0.1 in

(actual size: 27”w x 39”h)

I was asked by Levi’s to enhance their brand by bolstering their affinity with a young audience. I opted for a poster—the decor of choice for teenage girls’ bedrooms—and cast this youthful model and hand-lettered her story of personal empowerment. I call this style “three-ring binder lettering” for its flourishy ballpoint pen scribbles, which I remember high school girlfriends doodling on their blue canvas notebooks.
