The damaging effects of light pollution best in the life of animals - such as young sea turtles being misguided into the dangerous streets by streetlights that outshine the moon and birds who exhibit positive phototaxis hurling themselves into the reflected light off windows. And yet, I yearn to reconnect my relationship with the city lights: My source of my energy, as if the world beyond me is as filled with restless insomniac energy as I was.
