Bishop Edward H. Moore outside of his church, April 1983, as all other buildings have been reduced to rubble. Moore refused to leave his Life Church of Good Hope at 14th and U Streets NW. The church, briefly delaying, construction of the cities planned $38 million municiple office building. This is the 2nd time that redevelopment has forced the move of this church.
