Madison is an 18 year old with low functioning autism due to her inability to inference and communicate with others. From an early age, she has used art to cope with every day frustrations, to alleviate sensory issues that cause uneasiness and pain, and to just get things off her mind. Instead of interaction, she chooses to draw. Her language is comprised of whimsical characters that fill her sketchbook, computer drawings, and a doodle board she carries everywhere. Art truly is her saving grace.
