Ludwig Pongratz (1915-1995)
150 x 100 x 2.5 cm (h x w x d)

In 1966 Ludwig Pongratz took over a second professorship for psychology which had been successfully initiated by Arnold. In his appointment negotiations, he succeeded in establishing a second institute for psychology for a few years. However, a later reform of the university created again an overall institute with different chairs.
Pongratz introduced seminars on client-centered conversational psychotherapy according to Rogers and Tausch at an early stage in Würzburg. He thus set a focus in clinical psychology for many years.
