Dustin is an American screenwriter, director, film and television producer and LGBT+ rights activist. He is the founding board member of the American Foundation for Equal rights. He won an Oscar for his film, 'Milk' the biographical film of Harvey Milk, another LGBT+ activist and elected official who was assassinated at the San Francisco City Hall where he worked in the 70's.
Dustin, together with his husband, Tom Daley, are not just LGBT+ Icons for their work and achievements but are Icons for living their truths publicly and as such being positive role models for many in the /LGBT+, community.
