The main theme for my artworks is confusion and how people can be confused, get confused and in what way they are confused. The sub theme that I explored was the idea of personal confusion and the effect that can have on other people. I aimed to communicate the personal confusion of how simple things can appear, yet on closer inspection they can be much more complex. The two smaller paintings are a zoom in of the central canvas, drawing the conceptual link that people can be different to what they seem, causing confusion to the viewer.
