Aidan

Aidan is one-of-a-kind young man. He sees everyone and everything in the world as unique and special. He is friendly to everyone and loves to spend time with his friends any chance he gets. In his free time he likes to learn new information and research many different subjects. His style, personality, and fashion are unique and filled with bright colors and designs. He is very smart and likes to teach and help others, especially with electronics, video games, and computer programs. He loves the changing of the seasons, swimming in the summer and skiing in winter. Exploring and playing outdoors, riding his electric scooter and bike, and having adventures with his family are some of his favorite activities.

Ectodermal Dysplasia

The ectodermal dysplasias are inherited disorders that involve defects in the hair, nails, sweat glands and teeth. When a person has at least two types of abnormal ectodermal features—for example, malformed teeth and extremely sparse hair—the individual is identified as being affected by ectodermal dysplasia. The conditions are a remarkably diverse group of disorders which may also affect other parts of the body. The ectoderm contributes to the formation of the lens of the eye, parts of the inner ear, the fingers and toes, and nerves, among others. Therefore, ectodermal dysplasia may cause these parts of the body to develop abnormally
