Miguel Castro Leñero (1956, Mexico City) is one of the principal exponents of Mexican contemporary art alive today.
The Esteban Chapital Collection includes ten of his large-format paintings, all from his peak period of post-Ruptura production during the late eighties and early nineties.
Miguel is the brother of Alberto and Francisco and the uncle of Marco,
artists whose works also feature in the Esteban Chapital Collection.
