All The Money In The World , 2021

Since graduating from Scotch in 2013, I have completed my Bachelor of Fine Arts whilst also undertaking a Carpentry apprenticeship. Several years ago, I moved to the Surf Coast, where I work as a carpenter and also paint part time.

I paint both plein air and from my studio. I’m often pulling up on the side of the road to paint landscapes along the surf coast. I also love using found materials such as old photographs for larger studio based works. I find that I particularly like everyday scenes, often mundane, to show my way of seeing is to reveal a greater connection to something within the commonplace.
