Yuriana is a 6 year old from Guatemala. She began with her house on the bottom right corner of the paper. She and her father were taken to a house(colored in dark green strokes). Then a man (coyote) removed them and transfered them over to another house full of other migrants. And then another house full of more migrants. They crossed the Rio Grande on a makeshift boat, drawn in pink with blue water waves underneath. Her and her father sat in the back. She remembers that there were crabs in the water. On the other side they went through the brush. Finally they were taken to the detention center(the striated structure in blue). Later, they were released to the bus station. She imagined that the rest of the journey would be by plane and so she finished the drawing with a green plane on the upper left corner.
