Through this series of paintings, that became known as Light Paintings. The hard edged flat block of the last works painted in Florida became a three-dimensional cube. I began to explore the interior of the cube. The circle became a halo of light contained within the illuminated cube. I was trying to convert the cube to light. I traveled even further into the cube finding a three-dimensional cross.
