Description:
A portrait of becoming unbeing from being. The slow and painful process of fading memories in the Alzheimer's disease brain which exhausts the brain, erodes the rich memories of childhood, and ravages adulthood connections to the point of no longer recognizing your loved ones.

Bio:
I am a trained Neuroscientist with fascination for the brain and art. The inspiration for this project came when I was writing my Ph.D. thesis which documents my work on Alzheimer's disease. I grew appreciation for memories and how neurodegenerative diseases take away these rich and precious memories. I titled this series "Fading Memories" to show the vulnerability of the brain throughout life, especially in Alzheimer's disease.

Research focus:Alzheimer’s Disease
