Bio:
Pooja Viswanathan is a postdoctoral fellow in the lab of Erin Rich here at the Friedman Brain Institute. Her work focuses on how the brain deals with difficulty to learn new, flexible ways to solve a task. She holds a PhD and a MS in neuroscience from the University of Tuebingen and the International Max Planck Research School in Germany. She grew up in India, nurturing a love for humans, animals, and plants. She started making ceramic objects in 2019 and enjoys the space of intersection between art and science.
