Wasserstoff ist ein chemisches Element mit der Ordnungszahl 1 und ist mit einem Massenanteil von etwa 70
Prozent das häufigste chemische Element im Universum, jedoch nicht auf der Erde, wo sein Massenanteil an
der Erdhülle nur 0,87 Prozent beträgt. Vielleicht fasziniert er uns deshalb so sehr und ist Energiehoffnungsträger
Nummer 1.
Wie soll man Wasserstoff malen? Meine Kunst sollte einfach sein!
Mein Ansatz war die reine Reduktion auf die Chemie, die Anlehnung ja Kopie zahlreicher Vorlagen im Netz und
in Büchern von chemischen Modellen. Um sich Wasserstoff bildlich vor Augen zu führen, sollte er im Bild klar,
frisch, glänzend, stark, rein, unendlich und in gefühlt allen Größen dargestellt werden.
DESCRIPTION
Hydrogen is a chemical element with the atomic number 1, and it makes up about 70 percent of the universe by
mass. However, on Earth, its mass fraction in the Earth‘s crust is only about 0.87 percent. Perhaps that‘s why it
fascinates us so much and is considered the number one hope for energy.
How should one paint hydrogen? My art should be simple! My approach was a pure reduction to chemistry, drawing
inspiration and copying numerous models from the internet and books of chemical structures. To visually represent
hydrogen, it should appear in the painting as clear, fresh, shiny, strong, pure, infinite, and in seemingly all sizes.
