Mirror to the soul II
30 x 40 cm (h x w)
Photography

Referencing my previous projects, I took photos of the snake used, on a reflective surface.
This was inspired by Stefan Rotter’s photo of an old golden pocket watch. The use of a
reflective surface gave the snake some otherworldly feeling as well as a distinctive beauty
which the viewer wouldn't usually associate with a snake. To achieve this I did not only
photograph the snake on a reflective surface but also in front of a black background
resulting in aesthetically pleasing photographs.
