Jellyfish have roamed Earth's oceans for 500 million years, one of the most resilient species. When oceans are heating up, they can thrive in warmer water, absorbing 93% of that excess heat, with less oxygen. Some 4,000 species of them, extremely good at reproducing where a breeding female nettle, can spawn 45,000 eggs per day.
