Susanne Persson is a watercolour painter who lives and works in Malmö, Sweden. At Phillips University in Oklahoma, USA, after 5 years of study, she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts with the honourable mention Magna Cum Laude. In 2001, she started her company, Artiste Studio Vision and in addition to watercolour painting, she also worked with design, mixed media and calligraphy.
Through the sheer watercolour, the overlaps of the transparent colours, and dreamy motifs are depicted with a mysterious atmosphere. In these secret worlds, there is a feeling of freedom and Nordic magic. The intangible but ever-present is interpreted differently depending on the viewer's eyes.
She is a member of The Swedish Artists’ Association, Southwest Artist Group KSV and Nordic Watercolour Society NAS. She has had about 60 art exhibitions in Sweden, Belgium, the USA, Italy, and England, both solo and group exhibitions.
