Artist Statement

This is my dog Brownie siting on a stool posing for her mama. On this day I was working on an assignment and the subject matter was actually my husband. However, our gracious old lady did what she always does as soon as she notices that a photoshoot session is about to start. As someone who knows exactly what needs to be done, she walked up and sat right in front of the camera. Of course, I could not resist her charm and immediately took some photos of her. The beautiful lighting and her sweet face resulted in the making of this photo.
