“Blink” is the culmination of three steady weeks of carving. It takes a print process that’s centuries old and brings it into modern media by creating a gif. It takes natural features and transforms them from human to nature and back again in an unending loop. With the general populace wearing masks for the past couple years, only the eyes on the face have been available to us to create human connection.
