This was the first LA public work that narrated the migration of Central Americans to the neighborhood of Pico Union. The work details the mittiliary oppression, resistance and protest. It is also the story of the founders of CARECEN, 1983, people traumatized by civil war and oppression, but committed to the unity of community.
