I work mainly in linocut to illustrate children's books, my most recent book being Starfish, Kites and Fish that Fly (Four flying fishy tales featuring High 5 The Spectacular Star Jumping Starfish, Kite Girl, Wriggle - The Fish with the Frozen Fins and Fishy on a Fountain 1 2 3). Alumni of Leeds Arts University and current members of the Leeds Print Workshop I also exhibit as well as actively promote the importance of creativity, imagination and a little daydreaming for children. The submitted linocut with overlaid letterpress is my tribute to the artist who first sparked my own imagination as a child - Yoko Ono, whose continuing messages of peace, imagination and understanding are just as important in our world today as they ever have been.
