Justin joined the Marine Corps after high school and was scheduled to be sworn in (by his own father) on 911. In Iraq, he became an Infantry Squad Leader and filled in for the Platoon Sargent when needed.

On March 19, 2004 he was hit by an IED and sustained a Traumatic Brain Injury.

Justin has been actively taking art therapy and picked this piece whom he created with Art therapist, Craig Todd. He has a passion for dogs and most of his paintings are of Craig’s dog.
