In the artist's own words: "With this illustration I wanted to share hope for peace in our country among Ukrainians. I wanted to wish peace to every nation, every human on the Earth. My normal life paused on February 24th at 5 am, with the explosions of russian bombs in my hometown, as well as life of millions other Ukrainians. Strange to say, but for a while the usual cup of coffee, became something unattainable for me, something that I was forced to leave in the past. I guess that is why such symbol appeared in my imagination to express something truly crucial through something simple and familiar to everyone."
