Traditional Aboriginal people are good at this. They call it Walk About. For me, this is a healing place. As you watch the water tumbling over the rocks, its steady flow can help carry your cares away. Somersby Falls has many moods and changes with the seasons. I think this is synonymous with how our lives are shaped in response to different conditions and events. The conditions here were perfect on this particular day. The flow of water was just right, creating beautiful patterns as it cascaded down over the rocks, and the atmosphere was so tranquil. I hope it helps you to pause and reflect on the simplicity and tranquillity of nature.
