Artist statement: My usual process involves experimenting with a combination of techniques that may have been used on previous projects, sometimes resulting in a chain of events that
lead to an acceptable piece. Happy accidents sometimes occur and things turn out better than my original, hazy intention. While I do take my work seriously, absolute control is not
my goal. An imperfect but interesting mess is preferable to a perfect but sterile object.
