Moonflower , 2019
10.5 x 14.8 in (h x w)
Watercolor

Artist Statement: My watercolor and fabric art reflect how I interpret objects, events, and feelings through the arrangement of forms. I sometimes utilize circular shapes, contrasting positive and negative patterns, and a limited color palette to create a textured appearance and the illusion of movement. As an artist, I believe that one should never stop exploring
new techniques while always having fun with the creative process.

Artist description: This piece consists of a multitude of circles derived from four color pigments that form a series of intertwined negative and positive shapes and provide a textured look as I imagine a ‘moonflower’ would look.
