The HMCS Acadian was a small boat tender acquired by HMCS Donnacona in 1979. She was used for many trades training and made many voyages up and down the st Lawrence. She was decommissioned in 1996. The junior ranks mess claimed the two wood plaques on her port and starboard sides. They then named the junior ranks mess the Acadian. In 2008, they were hung above the doors to the entrances at the new unit at 3525 ST Jacques west.

Le NCSM Acadian était un petit bateau annexe acquis par le NCSM Donnacona en 1979. Il a été utilisé pour la formation à de nombreux métiers et a effectué de nombreux voyages sur le fleuve Saint-Laurent. Il a été désaffecté en 1996. Le mess des matelots a réclamé les deux plaques de bois sur ses côtés bâbord et tribord. Ils ont ensuite nommé le mess des matelots: l'Acadien. En 2008, elles ont été accrochées au-dessus des portes d'entrée de la nouvelle unité au 3525 ST Jacques ouest.
