In the artist's own words: "Freedom of speech in Germany- In 2018 after the world cup of Russia Mesut Ozil was forced to retrire from the German national team after the heavy criticism for his picture with Erdogan, as the president of Germany’s football association (DFB) had described the incident by "politicising football".

4 years later the German national team protested FIFA at the Qatar World Cup because they are banned wearing the rainbow-coloured armband, by covering their mouths while posing for a pre-match photo but nobody said anything about it."
