Ernst Haeckel was a German zoologist, naturalist, eugenicist, philosopher, physician, professor, marine biologist, and artist who discovered, described and named thousands of new species. He’s loved by art teachers everywhere and has drawn shells, algae, jellyfish and many other sea creatures.
