“City Skyline” is an abstract acrylic painting depicting a skyline of a city and its reflection in water. The abstract and loose, almost unfinished style, similarly to “The Dog” represents detachment or rather willing disengagement from reality, this time as a reaction to fast-paced and oversaturated life in metropolitan and urban areas. Although not based on a real-life location, the buildings in “City Skyline” are inspired by skyscrapers in Warsaw.
