Artist Statement

This image means a lot to me as the adorable model in the photo is my family's dog. I just happened to come across her lying on her bed with elegance, curiously looking out the window as the light softly touched her face. By chance I had my camera on me and wanted to preserve this moment in time. I enjoy the feeling that the image brings to those who come across it. The image holds a sense of wonder and mystery as you question what she is looking at on the other side of the window.

Artist Bio

Kyle Cachia has been a photographer for about 4 years. Kyle is currently enrolled in the Photography program at Humber College. Born and raised in Ontario, Canada this is where his photography is based. He started by shooting nature and street photography. This soon developed into portraits and commercial photography, his favourite style being watches and other male accessories. Despite this, Kyle is able to shoot all styles of photography involving, portraits, various products, fashion, interior, exterior, still life, nature, wildlife, and street photography, just to name a few. Using lighting, angles, as well as having a background in Photoshop, Kyle can put together his compositions. To this photographer there is no greater feeling than seeing the outcome of the art that he has created and produced.
