‘Hyper Excavation’ is a project that includes both physical painting and NFT.
In my first year of art school, I was interested in realism and believed there’s a magical secret of painting system that creates realistic images. However, I soon realized human’s capabilities are limited in regard to perfectionism and time consumption.
As time progressed with the development of computer technology, the individual artist can now access the advanced and quick digital imaging process.
And I was able to get back into creating ‘real’ realistic images. I consider artworks of ‘Hyper Excavation’ as still life paintings. Although the images appear disorderly, these are indeed calculated by the computer as logically positioned in the XYZ system.
