“The petals of the flower use real flowers. And on the outside of the pot there are pieces of okra, kind of making it look like a real pot is sticking out. The background color is a light pink and of course the stem is green.
“I chose a flower because I really enjoy the beauty of them. I love how they look and make me feel. One of my most favorite paintings is Sunflower by Vincent Van Gogh. I decided to use dried flowers for the flower petals, and it has a pot with okra peels on the outside of the pot. I really enjoyed making this design and maybe I'll make another flower design to have a collection.”
