My artwork represents the theme of the giving to the world because after 4.543 billion years the world is becoming unstable to live on. So I decided why not make an artwork representing an award to us for giving things to the world and taking things from the world. An award to the countries for creating peace and communication with the people and the earth. Award for the Durham District School board for supporting LGBTQ, for letting people be who they want to be. An award for the kindness some people have shown, and I have put their encouraging words on the golden steps. I want my art to show people that everyone, is important because of one disagreement, shouldn't separate another. My art shows that people will always be accepted even though they have been told countlessly they don't belong. Lastly, my art work shows what everyone sees the perspective of my friends and my family and me how I see the world, both negative and positive. But out of all honest what made me have this idea, well my original plan was to make a merry-go-round, representing how the world goes round and round and so does life. But then I thought, hey we all get an award for kindness, athletics, arts, attitude, bravery, but this world, this earth never got n award we as a community as a country never got an award. So instead, why not make a painting dedicated to everyone, every country, every religion and the Earth.
