In the artist's own words: "This artwork is an attempt to portray the underwater world I had the privilege to witness while diving. It felt like a whole new dimension altogether, the lushness and density of the vegetation that grew there was unmatchable and nothing like had seen before. The colours, forms, shapes and textures were so alien to me but still somehow made me feel so safe and secure. This artwork is an ode to the world underwater, how precious and strong yet so fragile."
