"Adriana N�brega was born in Madeira island.
As a multidisciplinary artist, she explores the importance of water, territories and the way water can be represented and used artistically.
In her most recent works, she has developed the theme of destruction of space and of aquatic beings as a consequence of both natural and human interference.
In her practice, she has used photography as an intermediate method to come to the results she wants to achieve in her prints and drawings, but so far her main focus is printmaking, especially focused on lithography and drawing with the aim of creating installations adapted to space."
