"Laura�s practice is based on a personal and intimate narrative that springs from both the relationship to the medium and the processing of a multitude of references that come to inhabit her imagination.

The human figure has been a recurrent subject of her research, together with the notions of space and boundaries associated with the body. The approach to her subject matter is often sentimental in the extent to which she tends to focus upon aspects concerning mortality and fragility with a nostalgic look.

Laura has always been interested in drawing as a process for making ideas visible, a form of visual thinking that has similarities with the writing. Drawing allows her for a fluid and spontaneous making where accidents are welcomed into the work. Laura�s practice extends to the making of 3d objects, prints and installation."
