"Zijing Chen (Chinese, b.1997) is a London-based visual artist. She graduated from Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in 2020 and completed her MA in Illustration at Camberwell College of Arts in 2022.

Zijing's artistic practice encompasses a diverse range of mediums, including graphic novels, painting, printmaking, digital painting, animation and ceramics. Through her works, she explores the potential of visual narrative, and the nuanced life experiences they unfold. Inspired by existentialist philosophy and magical realism literature, Zijing constructs her own narrative structures. Taking myths, symbols, personal memories and dreams as her
materials, she delves into the ultimate questions of human existence and the landscape of consciousness."
