HUMAN BODIES evolve through interactions and experiences, whether they are from within or outside the individual. The term LIBRARY is often associated with learning through books, with reflection of books and infinite knowledge. It is a collection of things that is accessed with permission for a specific duration but what if we break the idea of a traditional library though?
In a very actual understanding, Time is the continued sequence of existence and the progress in events that occurs in past, present and future. It is linked with movement.
An EVENT is a happening, an occasion or occurrence that happens around the living individual
EVENTS-SPACE-TIME
Experiences of a human body are shaped and altered by different SPACES, changing TIME, and EVENTS around it is through these experiences a human itself becomes a library of infinite thoughts, and could inspire or aspire others.
This idea of a HUMAN LIBRARY just like you would in a library, you borrow a “book” from the catalogue provided by The Human Library.
The stories let us share information in a way that creates an emotional connection. They help us to understand that information and each other, and it makes the information memorable
CITY and EXPERIENCES
A city is a mesh of patterns, patterns which are not linear but rather labyrinth like. A city is also a collation of infinite thoughts, stories and experiences. However, as the world is becoming increasingly disconnected with social interactions growing more and more superficial and digital. Can we interpret the ideas of such in elements of daily life
The idea of LIBRARY becomes a slow pace activity whereas the idea of TIME is a fast pace continuous movement. Can we amalgamate the idea slow and fast together in an element that becomes the space for a body. The traditionality of a library with a hint of future concepts
A SPACE- TRAVELING
reimagining traveling as a library
a moving library, where train becomes an eventful space and a medium through which either anonymously or in a known way humans interact. whereas, human becomes a source such a which does not restricts the idea of accessing rather different stories of individuals shared by scripts or many other forms
Creating a breakage from the everyday hustle of travelling in the city and allowing people to sit back and relax, the commute is used as an excuse to create new spatial possibilities. Often, travelling is seen as a free time for people to explore their hobbies, giving a reason to create spaces to slow down. While the world outside the train is in a fast paced motion, an environment has been created for rejuvination, interaction and narration of tales.
