This is a recent piece that was created in my continuation of weaving and watercolor paper fragments. Warp are the vertical paper strings and watercolor fragments and other paper are the weft woven on a loom. The weaving plays on the classic graphic characteristic order of the weaving process with the free form of torn painted watercolor paper and other twisted pieces of paper. It is part of a series I call RE-IMAGINED that has given new life to old torn up watercolor paintings. The old has become new.
