"I had just spent six weeks at the Seattle Rep theater in a new adventure for me into the world of musical theater.
I had never done that before and had the full experience being part of the ensemble for the Tempest. It created many different feelings in me.
When I saw the invitation to submit something for the Fall Exhibition, I thought of a previous adventure I took that I wanted to write about.
I wrote this piece during a week off of my Red Badge Writing class and it speaks for itself. When we embark on an adventure of any kind,
we cannot know what we are facing until we are there. This story shows that repeatedly.”
